“It has taken 3 decades for me to become the coach I want to be: years of my own entrepreneurial ventures teaching me how to surmount the personal and professional challenges we all face in pursuit of living our own best and authentic lives.”
Effective coaching is a deep and trusted collaboration with an individual client. That dynamic fusion, which sparks rapid change on every level, benefits from the kind of hard-won resume Richard Levi has achieved in pursuit of his own passions.
Richard’s unique career path began as an internationally acclaimed choreographer and dancer in Europe and New York City. His work in the Arts included; his own dance company, working on Broadway, the Montreal Jazz Festival, national tours and industrial trade shows. In recent years he parlayed this theatrical experience into the launch of his own production company to invest and produce original musical theatre pieces for the Broadway stage, as well as design and manufacture licensed theatrical souvenir products.
In 1991, Levi co-founded Pony Express Creations, Inc., a novelty headwear and Halloween company whose immediate success drew heavily on his theatricality, humor, salesmanship and entrepreneurial tenacity. The company and Levi’s designs quickly caught the eye of every major theme park and circus entertainment who asked Pony Express to provide them with innovative licensed designed headwear. Levi also served as Director of Sales for all Halloween retail key accounts and big box stores.
After selling the company, Levi began a business consulting practice, serving as product developer and marketing consultant to corporate productivity experts, The David Allen Company (author of the best seller, “Getting Things Done”). Other diverse business clients have ranged from designer lighting companies to wholesale plant nurseries in the county of Sonoma where Richard lives.
Richard is a certified Integral Coach (PCC and ICF certified) and serves as an adjunct faculty member of New Ventures West. His purpose now is to pass those gifts along to ignite the passion in others for doing their best, most fulfilling work in the world, whatever that may look like. A fulfilling life, he has learned, is our most gratifying and important creation.
